Hi, I have just discovered how wonderful goats can be. I plan to get some packgoats as soon as we can settle down this summer.
What breed or cross are your white goats? I am having trouble finding large goats, but you seem to have found the perfect pack animal! Can you share your secret?

I use goats from Eagle Creek Pack Goats. Carolyn Eddy and Charlie Goggin really know their stuff and provide goats and are strong, big, and well mannered.Cross breeds work best, I think, for pack goats. It depends on what features are important to you.
I have some new goats that are one year old now that are half LaMancha, half Alpine. We'll wait and see if they pack. They are sure affectionate, which I like.
